George Glowacki

George Glowacki, age 71, passed away January 11th, 2022. He was born on June 26th 1950 to Jan Glowacki and Maria Owczarek.

He is survived by his wife, Maria; sister, Maria Samojlik; brother Tadeusz Glowacki; son Bernard; daughter Isabella; and four grandchildren, Gabriella, Alexander, Ryan, and Tyler.

His passion was cycling which started at the young age of 5 when he won his first race, and led him to the 1972 Munich Summer Olympic Games.  He continued cycling for the remainder of his life strictly for the enjoyment of the sport. Later in life he rode motorcycles and enjoyed many long rides throughout the state of NM. He loved the freedom and adventure of the open road. 

George was an entrepreneur at heart and started two businesses during his lifetime, HomeArt Construction and Polmex Manufacturing.  

He was a wonderful husband, amazing father and a loving grandfather. He will be missed.

A visitation will be held Friday, February 4th at 2pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services Wyoming Chapel, located at 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque NM 87109 with a reception to follow.
