George J. Johnson

George J. Johnson, 67, of Farmington, died Tuesday, August 3, 2010, from a sudden heart attack. George was born in Muleshoe, Texas to Roy and Emily Johnson. He moved to New Mexico in 1957. In 1961 he married the love of his life, Aileen Mikolajczak. George worked for Modern Iron Works 34 years until his retirement. He was a lifetime member of the Elk's Club in Farmington. He enjoyed camping and playing poker, but his greatest enjoyment was fishing. He Loved fishing with his best buddy, and grandson Jeremy Johnson. George was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 1 sister and a son. He is survived by his wife, Aileen Jo Johnson; son, Veron (Shelly) Johnson; and daughter, Velvet ( W. Trent) Wood; one brother, Jimmie Johnson; and 4 grandchildren, Audrey, Jeremy Johnson; Garrick and Natalie Wood. George is in the care of: Daniels Family Funeral Services 804 N.
