GeorgeAnna Nipp

June 3, 1929 — September 21, 2019

GeorgeAnna "Gi Gi" Nipp entered this world on June 3, 1929.  She was born to William and Georgianna Humphries in Paris, Texas.  She was called home to meet her much loved Savior on September 21, 2019.  She was a graduate of the East Texas State Teachers College.  Georgie taught primary grades in elementary schools for 38 years, spending most of her career teaching 2nd grade in Decatur, Illinois District 61.  GeorgeAnna and husband Howard lived and were married in Kansas City, Kansas on January 22, 1954.  They moved to Decatur, Illinois in 1970, then to Rio Rancho, New Mexico in March 2016.  Georgie put God's word in her heart and lived her faith.  She was a devoted member of Northwest Christian Church and actively served with the Shepherding Center, teaching Sunday school, volunteering with leadership for both senior and youth groups.  She continued to serve God in New Mexico, attending church and bible study groups on a regular basis.  Georgie also loved gardening and was an involved member of the Decatur rose society for many years.  Survivors include husband Howard Nipp; son Willie and daughter-in-law Julie Nipp; daughter Annie and son-in-law Henry Novak; granddaughter Amanda, husband Ryan, and great granddaughter Lakyn Morgan.  All life comes from God and all life returns to God, GeorgeAnna's going home celebration will be held at Daniels Family Funeral Services at 10 am on October 8, 2019 in Rio Rancho, NM.  She will be laid to rest in the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM.
