German De La Cruz Alvarado

ALVARADO - German De La Cruz Alvarado, 67, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2011 in Socorro, NM. He was born May 28, 1944 to Agapito Robles and Guadalupe (De La Cruz Esquivel) Alvarado in Gomez Placio, Durango, Mexico. German was a resident of Socorro since 1981. He was a hard worker and was very dedicated and loyal to his family and friends. He loved farming, it was his life. He was preceded in death by his parents.
German is survived by his wife, Marie Alvarado; his son, Rueben Alvarado Mendoza; his daughter, Angela Alvarado; his step daughters, Sandra Ayala, Claudia Lopez, and Erica Lopez; his step sons, Osvaldo Lopez, and Eddie Lopez; grandchildren, Edgar Lopez, Eliza Lopez, Natalie Lopez, and Felipe Romero; great grandsons, Miguel Juan Armendariz, and Jyzzel Perito; 12 other grandchildren; and his good friend and employer, Abigail Judy (Bill) Armendariz of Socorro, NM . AVisitation will take place Tuesday, October 4, 2011, from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Socorro Chapel followed by a Rosary, which will be recited at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at 9:00 AM at San Miguel Catholic Church with Father Andrew Pavlak as Celebrant. Interment will take place in the San Miguel Catholic Cemetery. German's care has been entrusted to:
