Gilbert Cardenas

CARDENAS _ Gilbert Cardenas, age 92, beloved and devoted husband and father, completed his journey on this earth and entered into Eternal Life with the Lord on Monday, February 14, 2011. He was a life long resident of Albuquerque, and a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adolfo and Senaida Cardenas; his siblings, Lizzie Aragon, Lena Montoya, Virgie and Tony Cardenas. Gilbert is survived by his loving wife of over 60 years, Lucy Cardenas; his children, Delbert and Judy Cardenas; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitations will be Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services �?¯�?¿�?½�?¯�?¿�?½“ Alameda Mortuary, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final viewing will be Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at Alameda Mortuary. Service of Christian Burial will be Friday at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Interment will follow at San Carlos Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Fred Montoya, Mike Montoya, Marty Montoya, Larry Orona, Toby Orona and George Maldonado. Honorary Bearers will be Raymond Montoya, Elfigo Montoya, Jr., Harold Orona, Daniel Orona, Rudy Maldonado, Richard Mata, Danielle Lucero and Walter Orona.
