Gloria Jean Droelle

Gloria Jean Droelle, (née Montoya) passed away on May 9, 2024, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the age of 73.  She was born on June 20, 1950, in Albuquerque, NM.  Gloria was the heart and soul of her family.   She is survived by her children, Tom Droelle and wife, Lisa, Michele Droelle; three grandchildren, Kaela Schoenholzer, Dylan Droelle, and Ryen Schoenholzer; brother Fred Montoya and wife Grace, and sister Vicky Baca and husband, Henry; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by Tom, her husband of 33 years; her parents John and Irene Montoya, and her sister, Vera Holguin.  

Gloria was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and devout Catholic.  She retired from Sandia Laboratories Federal Credit Union and enjoyed being with her family and traveling.  

Mass will be celebrated at Saint Bernadette’s Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE on May 29, 2024 at 10:00 am.  Internment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N. Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM at 12:30 pm.
