Goldie Pope

POPE, Goldie Pope, 85, passed August 1, 2010. Goldie was born June 9, 1925 in Fallace, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Lonnie Pope, her father and mother and 12 sisters and brothers. A long time member of the Macedonia Baptist Church, she is survived by her daughter; Michelle Peoples and granddaughters; Kalene Dan-Jumbo and Chandra Peoples and one great grandchild. Visitation will be at the Macedonia Baptist Church on Friday, August 13, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Macedonia Baptist Church, 1509 Edith S E. Rev. N. D. Smith will preside. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale Boulevard, SE.
