Gregory Newton Whitfield

Gregory Newton Whitfield passed away on December 13th , 2021. He was born March 22nd , 1966 to Bill and Billie Ruth Whitfield in the town of Clovis, New Mexico, alongside his four siblings.

He grew up in Clovis, attending Clovis Highschool where he graduated in 1984 before attending College at New Mexico State University, achieving a master’s degree in Electro Optical Engineering. He was working for Tau Technologies for the last 10 years. Greg would continue to get married to Christy Jones, and they would have two sons, Quentin, and Cameron Whitfield.

Greg is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Billie Ruth Whitfield. He is survived by his sons, Quentin and Cameron Whitfield, Ex-Wife Christy Lockhart, Sisters Debbie Wyman and Eunice Ensign, and brothers Steve and Mark Whitfield. Greg was a good soul, who took interest in spiritual healing, yoga, cycling, and fostering animals. In celebration of his life and interests, there will be a Celebration of Life on April 22nd , 2022.
