Hannah M. Pino

May 11, 1999 — November 9, 2021

Our loving, Sweet Angel, Hannah Pino (from Albuquerque, NM) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.

Our beautiful baby was born on May 11, 1999 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Tom and Val Pino. Hannah is preceded in death by Papa Frank, Nanny Barbara, Pammy, Denny Pat, and her loving service dog Twinkle. Hannah is survived by parents Tom and Val, brother Aaron and wife Nicole, sister Melanie and husband Sam and their daughter Olivia and sister Grace and grandparents, Gilbert and Alicia Pino, uncle Kenny and Ryszard, aunt Reggie and David, uncle Ron and Linda, aunt Elaine, uncle Dennis and Diane, uncle David and Pauline, aunt Janice and Tony, aunt Barbie and Ray and numerous first cousins Denny Pat, Corey, Travis, Audra, Lacey, Trey, Niko, Sammy, Ashely, Jake, Jonathan, Faith, Edward, Nicky, Alex and Sydney.

Hannah loved gymnastics, riding horses, swimming in the backyard with the cousins, drawing, cooking and was quite the card shark. She was the best performer in the family and was always singing or dancing. Hannah loved her High School Musical, Camp Rock, Descendants and every other Disney movie. One of her favorite times was Dinner Club with her best girls. Cooking dinner, making dessert, dancing, singing and celebrating birthdays was the best night of the week.

Hannah competed in Special Olympics with the Albuquerque Gymnastics School and became a decorated Olympian! She later joined Special Olympics Swimming with the Charger Aquatics team coached by parents Tom and Val, sisters Mel and Grace who helped found the team. Special Olympics became a second family to Hannah with the help of her coaches and fellow athletes. She loved her family, friends, coaches, teachers, therapists and everyone that made her feel special.

Hannah attended Arroyo Del Oso elementary school, Dessert Ridge middle school and graduated from La Cueva High School in 2018. She enjoyed many subjects, but drawing and writing were her favorites. Hannah has many amazing paintings hung in our family gallery. She continued on after high school with the transition to work program through CTAP.

The family would like to express our sincere thanks to all of Hannah’s family members and friends who invested the time to help her reach her highest potential. The love, time and care you gave to Hannah throughout her life is truly appreciated.
