Harriet Jane Werner Staggs

Harriet Staggs, age 82, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022. She was born in Bayonne, NJ on May 28, 1940, to Frank Chisman Werner and Edna Werner.

She was preceded in death by her older brother Harry, in March of 2019 and her beloved husband George E. Staggs in 1997.

Harriet is survived by her sister-in-law, Marcella Werner and her nephews Frank, George and Wade as well as her niece Rose.

Harriet was a graduate of Eunice High School and Eastern New Mexico University and worked for the Albuquerque Schools until her retirement.

She was married to George E. Staggs until his death in 1997 and she has been laid to rest next to him at Sandia Memory Gardens in Albuquerque.

The family gives a special thank you to Michael and Dolores who were always there to help with any of Harriet’s needs.
