Power, Harvey Pat Harvey Pat Power, 80, went into the loving arms of our Lord on Thursday, April 24, 2014. Pat was born on the 17th of March 1934 in Hereford, Texas to Marion Harvey and Rebecca Carolyn Power. Pat is survived by his loving wife Jennifer, his two daughters Karen who is married to Robert and their two children, Kaitlyn and Christian and Teresa who is married to Kenneth and their daughter Kristina. Pat is also survived by his brother Oscar and wife Sue of Lubbock, TX. Pat was raised in Texas and at the age of 22, he entered the US Army. He served in many places including Rochefort sur Mer, France. Whilst on leave from his station in France, Pat attended a dance in London, England where he met Jennifer, love of his life. Jennifer and Pat met on a Sunday, were engaged on the following Friday, married 4 months later and were lucky enough to share 55 wonderful years of marriage before his passing. After returning to Texas with his new bride, Pat worked for Southwestern Public Service Company. Next he attended Texas Tech University, where he earned a degree in Industrial Management and Business Law and remained a lifelong Sigma Chi Member. Pat owned and ran Power Enterprises for 27 years before he and Jennifer opened the Devonshire Adobe Inn and Tea Room, where they met and made many lovely friends. After retiring as an innkeeper, Pat enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys. Funeral services will be held on Friday the 2nd of May 2014 at 4:00 pm at Daniels Family Funeral Home located at 2400 Southern Blvd SE Rio Rancho, NM 87124. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to Presbyterian Health Care Foundation Hospice Program, PO BOX 26666, Albuquerque, NM 87125 in Pat�s honor.
