Helen Alt

Alt, Helen Longtime Albuquerque resident Helen Alt was called home on March 27, 2012. Helen was born in Paterson, New Jersey on October 16, 1924. She was the third of three children born to William and Hattie Wasmer. She married Ray on June 4, 1944. They have one son, Roger Alt. Helen and Ray moved to New Mexico in 1956 for Ray's health. Helen worked for Public Services of New Mexico and eventually worked her way up to administrative assistant of then PNM President, Jerry Geist until her retirement. Helen adored her job. Ray worked for APD as a patrolman and detective until his retirement. Helen was preceded in death by Ray in 2001 and is survived by her son, Roger Alt and his wife Sharon, grandson Michael Gural-Maiello and his wife Natasha and her great grandson, Michael Alexander and granddaughter Jennifer Rohrig and her husband, Brent. Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 2, 2012, 11:00 am, at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque. information or Helen's care has been entrusted to:
