Helen M. Brandon

BRANDON- Helen M. Brandon, 90, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM since 1982, was gently called by our Heavenly Father on November 28, 2010. Mrs. Brandon was born on September 8, 1920 to Allen Rowe and Doris (Fitch) Myers of Kinsman, OH. She was a member of Eastern Star, Kinsman United Methodist Church-Hope Circle, Bayview Literary Club, and High Desert United Methodist Church of Rio Rancho, NM. She was a resident of Fairwinds, formerly Acantilado Vista, of Rio Rancho, NM. She was an avid baker, enjoyed hot air ballooning, and enjoyed “cruising” the seas. Mrs. Brandon was preceded in death by her husband, George Gray Brandon; brother, Allen Myers; and sister, Carol Muir. She is survived by her four children: Stephanie Yund and husband, Bob, of Del Norte, CO, Eric Brandon and wife, Kathy, of Poway, CA, Chris Brandon and wife, Sue, of El Paso, TX and Denise Pelowitz and husband, Dave, of Los Alamos, NM; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; six nieces and nephews; and a host of people whose lives she has touched along the way. A Viewing and Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Friday, December 3, at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 4310 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho, NM. Private Funeral Services will be held at a later date. Mrs. Brandon will be laid to rest at Vista Verde Memorial Park, Rio Rancho.
