JESSEN�?¯�?¿�?½�?¯�?¿�?½“ Helen Regina Enright Jessen, a resident of Albuquerque for 26 years, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at the age of 91, born in New York City on August 5, 1919 to James and Regina Enright. She is survived by her six children; Dorothea Soden and husband Thomas, John D’Amico and wife Janet, Paul Jessen and wife Bertha, Jean Porterfield and husband Richard, Bernard Jessen and wife Laura and James Jessen; eight grandchildren, John, Thomas, Robert, Melissa, Paul, Joseph, William and Siegfried; five great-grandchildren, Brandon, Cameron, Andrew, Elizabeth and Marc. She and her beloved husband Paul S. Jessen had owned several delicatessens in the New York City area before moving to Albuquerque in 1983. Helen worked for Sears. She also worked as a school crossing guard with APS alongside her beloved brother Barney Enright. Helen was a volunteer at Anna Kaseman Hospital. A devout Catholic, she was an active member of the choir, a Eucharistic Minister and a Lector at the Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and a good friend to many. Helen will be dearly missed by her family and friends. On Wednesday, November 3, a visitation will be at 6:00 PM, a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM at Daniels Family Funeral Services. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Risen Savior Catholic Community Church, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Jack D’Amico, Paul Jessen, Bernard Jessen, James Jessen, Thomas Soden, Paul Jessen Jr. and William Jessen.In lieu of flowers please make donations to lap dog rescue of New Mexico.
