Helen Adeline Lujan

Helen Adeline Lujan, 89, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1994, died Saturday, March 4, 2023 surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born in Alamosa, Co on August 7, 1933 to Nick and Prudencia Martinez. She married Patricio S. Lujan on December 23, 1953. She is survived by four children, Florence Fox (Don), Nancy Primrose (Dave), John Lujan (Paula) and Judy Lujan her Guardian Angel. Helen had 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; brother, Leo Martinez (Frances) and sister Martha Roybal; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Patricio S. Lujan, son, Caesar Lujan, son, Patrick Lujan Jr. and granddaughter, Adrianna Lujan. She was devoted to her religion and faith. She was a wonderful mother of six who loved to cook for family and friends. Family was everything to her and she loved when they would visit with her. Her love for people was genuine and she knew how to make people feel special. If a friend or relative was suffering, she knew how to comfort them. She was a blessing to us all and forever will be missed by her family, friends and neighbors.

Viewing will be Thursday March 16^th at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Incarnation, 2309 Monterrey Rd, NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144. Rosary will be recited at 10:30. Mass to follow immediately after the rosary. Reception will be at the parish hall next to the church  immediately after Mass. Burial will take place March 17, 12:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Fox, David Primrose Jr., Joseph Mullins, Patrick Lujan, Santiago Romero, Travis Fox, and Honorary Pallbearer is Leo Romero.
