Herbert Wilson

Wilson died June 15, 2010, in Chinle. He was born Oct. 16, 1947, in Chinle, into the Charcoal Streaked Division of the Red Running Into the Water People Clan for the Salt People Clan. Survivors include his wife, Buffy D. Wilson; sons, Reuben J. Wilson, Juwan P. Wilson; daughters, Adelene D. Wilson, Evangelene D. Wilson, Tsainina B. Wilson; brothers, Karl W. Wilson, Herman K. Wilson, Acey Wilson, David K. Wilson Sr., William Wilson Jr.; sisters, Ellen W. Martin, Martha E. Yazzie. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, William Wilson Sr., Ason Y. Wilson, Caleb Wilson, Jerry Wilson. Pallbearers will be Reuben Wilson, Delbert Wilson, Anthony Yazzie, Juwan Wilson, Gerhard Yazzie, Adrian Yazzie. The family will receive relatives and friends at Tseyi Bidaa Presbyterian Church, following services. The family will meet at Del Muerto Church every evening. Tse Bonito Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
