Herlinda Martinez

MARTINEZ-Herlinda Martinez, 85, passed away Friday, September 3, 2010. She was born June 30, 1925 in Superior, AZ and also lived in Los Angeles, CA until moving to Rio Rancho in 1987. She is survived by her five children, Sylvia Montoya and husband Rick of Ponderosa, NM, Isaac Martinez and wife Diana of Norwalk, CA, Avelina Otero and husband Tony of Whittier, CA, Manuel Martinez and wife Valerie of Dallas, TX, Gloria Edmond and husband Mike of Corona, CA; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Isaac Martinez. Herlinda was a loving wife and wonderful mother. A Rosary will be recited at 12:30 pm, Saturday, September 11, 2010 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 pm, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM, 505-892-1511. Interment to follow services at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM. following services.
