Hilda M. Mignone

Hilda M. Mignone, beloved wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother went to be with the Lord, Friday October 5th, 2018 at the age of 88. 

Hilda was a wonderful mother who loved God and her family with all her heart.  She was full of energy, loved to laugh, dance, go to the casino and be surrounded by her friends.  She always insisted "on doing the job right" from the beginning.  She had the highest standards in which she performed her job as a receptionist for many years.  She enjoyed embroidery, and left her family and friends with her creations to forever cherish.  She cared about others and passed those values on to her children.  She donated many hours as a hospital volunteer. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Joe. She is survived by her son, Joey and wife Maureen; daughter, Linda and husband Tom; grandsons, Michael, Christopher and Justin; 11 great-grandchildren, as well as a brother Al; numerous nephews and nieces.  Mom wrote that she considered herself to be blessed with a wonderful husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends.  The last sentence she wrote says it all: "I've had a great life and I've been truly blessed by my Lord and Savior."  We will miss her smile, love for us, her touch, feistiness and telling it like it is

In lieu of flowers, Hilda requested donations be made to the American Heart Association - 2201 San Pedro Drive NE, Albuquerque, NM  87110. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Daniel's Family Funeral Services (Sara Chapel) at 4310 Sara Rd., SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124 on Friday, October 12th, 2018 at 11:00AM.
