Howard Austin Frank

Howard Austin Frank went to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at the age of 72. He was born April 6, 1936 in Turner Town, Texas to William and Edna Frank. Howard served in the United States Army and the Reserves from 1959 to 1965. He then worked in the oil fields in Texas and New Mexico until his retirement ten years ago. Howard married Reida Ward on May 17, 1980 and resided in Hobbs, NM until they moved to Farmington in 1999. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Freddie and Billy Frank; and by sister, Betty Lipsey. Howard is survived by his wife Reida of the family home; 3 children from a first marriage, Clayton and Troy Frank of Eunice, NM, and Teresa Haynes of Del Rio, TX; 7 step-children, Cheryl Wheeler of Wichita, KS, Carol Jeter of Stanton, TX, LaTraille Anderson of Enid, OK, Connie Ward of Hobbs, NM, Sonja Richards of Jacksonville, FL, Teresa Greenway of Odessa, TX, and Cassie Sanders of Farmington; 1 sister, Margaret Ann of Breckenridge, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Sibyl Huntington of Farmington; 20 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
