FARMINGTON Ida Alberta McMahon April 16, 1940 - Dec. 24, 2010 Ida Alberta McMahon, 70, of Farmington, passed away on Friday, Dec. 24, 2010. Ida was born April 16, 1940, in Lake Mills, Iowa, to Ole O. Moen and Marie Onora Storvik. She grew up with four brothers, Oris, Stanley, John and Marlin Moen, and sister, Agnes Shultz. She married the love of her life, Alvin D. McMahon, and together they raised three children, son, Jeff McMahon; daughters, Veronica (Darrel) Murray and Jodie (Gary) Noyes. Ida was not only a homemaker, she worked at Gibson's in her early years. She drove a school bus, did upholstery work, was a landlord and did anything else requested of her. She loved spending time with her family at the lake, fishing, camping, gardening or an occasional trip to the casino. She was always full of love and laughter. Ida is survived by her husband, Alvin, her beloved children; one brother, Marlin Moen and wife, Roxie, of Rochester; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Ida requested to be cremated with private services for her family in the spring. Arrangements are with Cope Memorial Chapel, 404 W. Arrington St. in Farmington, (505) 327-5142.
