Ila Howard

Howard, Ila Maxine (Wyatt) was born on November 28, 1924 in Olustee, Jackson County, Oklahoma. Her parents were Noah and Mary Elizabeth Wyatt of Melrose, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents and nine brothers and sisters. Maxine grew up in Melrose, New Mexico where she graduated High School and later married Troy Kemper and years later she married Gordon Howard. She worked most of her adult career at the Arizona State Corporation Commission and retired in Phoenix, Arizona. Maxine is member of Central Baptist Church in Clovis, New Mexico. She is survived by sisters Zula Carlton and Daisy Crowley of Albuquerque, New Mexico and numerous nieces and nephews. Maxine died in Albuquerque, New Mexico on January 28, 2014 at the age of 89 where she had resided for three years.
