Keyonnie died March 22, 2010, in Gallup. She was born Oct. 10, 1920, in Ganado, into the Bitter Water People Clan for the Coyote Pass People Clan. Keyonnie was employed with Navajo Arts and Crafts. She participated in the Longest Walk to Washington, D.C. in 1978. She was a rug weaver, did pictorial design, yeibichei design, Ganado red and double sided weaving. Keyonnie was an avid traveler. She was a homemaker, rancher and farmer. Survivors include her daughters, Ella Mae Begay of Ganado, Pauline Benally of Ganado; sisters, Arelene Woody of Ganado, Mary James of Ganado; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Keyonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Keyonnie; son, Eddie Keyonnie; parents, Clyde Tso, Marilyn Begay; sisters, Marie Tsosie, Kate Dale, Josephine Perez, Mildred Willie; brothers, Lawrence Begay, Francis Begay, Harry Begay, David Begay; two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Gary Tsosie, Jerry Benally, Jack Begay. Arrangements are entrusted to: Tse Bonito Mortuary
