Ireta Lucy Burnett

Lucy Ireta Burnett, wife of William Earl Burnett, passed away peacefully in Kirtland , NM , Thursday, August 11, 2011. She was born June 6, 1939 in Pie Town , NM to James Monroe Hastings and Eda Gertrude Phillips. Ireta is survived by her loving husband, William Earl Burnett and a posterity of 145, daughters Theresa Green-Preston and Tami Mosser (Jeff); step-daughters, (although Ireta always said "there are no steps): Lurlynn Potter (Dave), Melinda Burnett, Carolynn Zoll (Jason), Tamara Hautala (Matthew), Tera Freestone (Carl), Jona (Kim) Webb, Dana Butler (Jeff), Kara Roberts (Greg), and daughter-in-law, Betsy Burnett; 82 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren. Ireta is also survived by her brother Roy Hastings. She was preceded in death by her step-son Benjamin LaVon Burnett, her parents and 6 siblings: Manuel, Marie,Lenora, Imogene, Betty, Juanita and Jimmy. Visitation for Lucy will be held on Monday, August 15th from 5:00 ��?? 7:00 p.m. at Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 16th at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Road 6100, Kirtland , NM .
