Funeral Services for Irvin J. Begay 66, of Smith Lake, New Mexico will be held July 13, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Church in Smith Lake, New Mexico. Burial will be in the Community Cemetery in Smith Lake, New Mexico. Mr. Begay was born December 13, 1943 in Crownpoint, New Mexico and died July 6, 2010 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was born in the Sagebrush Hill clan for the Zia Clan. He was a life resident of Smith Lake, New Mexico. He served as Smith Lake Chapter House president for 8 years. He was active in many community activities and boards. Survivors include his son Tyrone J. Begay of Rough Rock, Arizona. Parents Frank and Evelyn Begay of Smith Lake, New Mexico A brother Leonard J. Begay of Glendale, Arizona. Four sisters Helen Morgan of Red Rock, New Mexico Louise Begay of Crownpoint, New Mexico, Andrea Begay of Smith Lake, New Mexico and Ann Jean Begay of Los Lunas, New Mexico. 3 Grandchildren. Begay was preceded in death by a brother Frankie Begay and two sisters Virginia Bosin and Ella Mae Begay. Pallbearers are Tyrone J. Begay, Leonard J.
