Isabell Pena

Isabell Pena, age 80, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026. She was born on February 3, 1946, in Gallup, New Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Martin Pena; her son, Leo C. Turner, Jr.; and her parents, Oscaris and Salome Baldonado.

Isabell is lovingly remembered by her children: Evette Giron, Darlene Padilla, Michelle Armijo, and Mark Turner. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson, all of whom brought her joy.

Isabell dedicated many years of her life working as a beautician at Martin Pena’s Barber and Beauty Shop. She had a passion for shopping and cherished every moment spent with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A funeral service will be held on April 30 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church, 3424 4th Street NW. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd NE in Albuquerque. Family and friends are invited to gather afterward at Prestige Event Center, 2019 5th Street, to celebrate Isabell’s life.
