We say goodbye to Jaden entirely too soon. In his short time with us, he faced more than his fair share of obstacles. To have the healthy life that most of us take for granted meant a regimen of pills, doctor visits and restrictions that would leave most complaining “Why me?” Yet Jaden chose to let optimism win. He was brave and gentle and good and kind.

Jaden enjoyed gaming and animation, valuing those that told an intriguing story and relishing digging into the lore of the created worlds. He supported the storytellers that captured his imagination, building a collection of shirts, pins, and plushies purchased as a way to help fund those creators and their endeavors. He worked on building worlds himself, through RPG sessions and Lego set of his favorite franchises. He was an avid artist and completed his associate's degree in film from CNM with the dream of becoming an animator.

He participated in Boy Scouts with his father, receiving the Pillars of Faith award for completing all the Catholic scouting religious medals, joining the Order of the Arrow and achieving Eagle Scout.

He is survived by his mother Joanne Bousek Paul, his grandmother Grace Knoble Bousek, and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins who have been a great support to him through his final days. He is preceded in death by his father Steven Todd Paul, grandfather Ronald Richard Bousek, and Grandmother Joan Shoemaker Manor.

He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
