Jaiden Michael Garcia

In loving memory of Jaiden Michael Garcia, a cherished son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend who touched the hearts of many. Jaiden's journey began on January 6, 2008, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he was welcomed into the world with love by his parents Marissa S. Baca and Michael L. Garcia. His bright spirit illuminated the lives of all who had the privilege of meeting and knowing him.
 
Jaiden's dedication to his education and personal growth shone through in his remarkable achievements as a member of the Rio Rancho Powerlifting Team. In the 2024 season, he displayed exceptional strength and resilience, lettering with pride. His ability to squat 365 lbs., bench 220 lbs., and deadlift an impressive 475 lbs., totaling 1060 lbs. in his weight class of 165 lbs., exemplified his unwavering determination and passion for excellence.
 
Family meant everything to Jaiden, and he leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever live on in the hearts of his surviving family members. His mother Marissa S. Baca (Rudy Apodaca) and father Michael L. Garcia (Louise Garcia), along with his brothers Jaxson J. Garcia and Jordan Garcia (Samantha), mourn his loss deeply. In addition, he is survived by his niece Milena Garcia and nephew Romeo Garcia, who will forever carry his memory forward with love and admiration.
 
The bond between Jaiden and his extended family was a source of joy and strength throughout his life's journey. He is fondly remembered by his maternal Grandparents Maria I. Martinez and Leocadio Baca, his paternal Grandparents Joseph and Tina Garcia, Godparents, Ramon and Fran Baca along with cousins:  Ramon Jr., Harriet, Alejandro, Gabriela Baca ; Paternal Aunt, Carla Jo (Cory) and numerous other family members and friends.
 
Jaiden was preceded in death by Uncle Victor Manuel Baca, who held a special place in Jaiden's heart alongside great-Grandparents Placido and Adeline Garcia, Tom and Pauline Crespin, Ramon and Margarita Martinez.
 
Services to honor Jaiden's life will be held at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church in Albuquerque on May 14, 2024.  Visitation will begin at 9:00 am.  A Rosary will be recited at 9:30, Mass of Christian Burial at 10:15 am followed by interment at Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho at 12:00 pm.
 
Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow at the loss of such a vibrant soul that was taken too soon, let us find solace in knowing that Jaiden's spirit will forever shine bright in our memories.
