Jake F. Salaz, age 71, a resident of Cuba, NM passed away on May 4, 2024 surrounded by all those who loved him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mariano and Romelia Salaz; siblings Ramon and Maryjane Salaz; son Filemon Salaz; and godson, Joshua Salaz.
He is survived by his loving "Sofia" Sophie Salaz; children, Anthony Salaz (Belynn), Danette Duran (Nathan), Jaylene Salaz (Dominic), Fernando Salaz (Sallyann), Tomas Salaz (Delilah), Anthony Suazo (Tina), Phillip Salaz (Monica), Sharon Suazo-Oakley (Chris) ; siblings, Presciliano Salaz (Bertha), Merejildo Salaz (Theresa), Mariano Salaz (Sharon), Bonnie Salaz, Lucy Gallegos (Lawrence), and Jean Salaz-Romero (Larry); 28 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Serving as Pallbearers will be: Dominic & Amelina Martinez, Juaquin, Christopher and Jerome Salaz, and Andres and Adriano Duran.
Honorary Pallbearers: Mariano Salaz Jr., all his grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
