James D. Coghill

James D. Coghill, 67, of Farmington, died on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, in Farmington. He was born April 28, 1943, in Tippecanoe, Indiana. He was raised in Delphi, Indiana and moved to Farmigton in 1979. After completing high school in 1961, he joined the Marine Corps. He was proud of his service and has kept in touch with several fellow marines that he served with. Jim's life-long career was in the construction field and he retired from the City of Farmington as a Construction Inspector. He was married to Suzanne Nix on August 1, 1973, who survives him. He is also survived by his son, Branson, wife Lara and two grandchildren, children Virginia and Michael. Other survivors include his mother, sister, one brother-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
