James Jim"" Ives

IVES - James "Jim", 76, of Farmington, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2009 in Farmington. Jim was born in Rising Star, Texas, the eldest of 10 children and had been a long time resident of Farmington. He worked in the trucking business for more than 50 years and had been employed by Dawn Trucking for 28 years. Jim was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Korean Conflict and was a member of the VFW and the Elks Club. He enjoyed vegetable gardening and was devoted to his work. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1st wife Wanda,2 sons, 2 brothers and 4 sisters. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; brother, Lee Roy (Jackie) Ives; sisters, Sandy Brummet and Henry Ives; daughters, Rita (Roy) Bellew, Kathy (David) Madrid, Karla Lea Tagge, JJ (Tony) West and Krista Flores; 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren as well as many close friends.
