James Lumley, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, veteran, and friend, passed away leaving behind a legacy of service, dedication, and love for family.

James proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps for 25 years. He served during both the Korean War and the Vietnam War. After retiring from the Marine Corps, James pursued his passion for golf and became a Class A PGA professional golfer.

James cherished his family. He was married to his beloved wife, Barbara Lumley, for nearly 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, James Lumley III and his step brother, Earl.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Lumley; his son, David Lumley and stepchildren, Michael Wood (Adrianne Fragua) and Michele Wood; his five grandchildren, Ashlyn (John Sanchez), Ethan, Mikey, Aidan, and Hailey; and his great-grandson, Kaius. He also leaves behind his two doggies, Lobo and Lucy.

James will be remembered for his strength, his dedication to service, his love of golf, and the love he had for his family.

He will be deeply missed and loved forever.
