James Tsosie

Funeral services for James Tsosie, 70, will be held Friday, Aug. 27, at St. Isabel Mission in Lukachukai, Ariz. Burial will follow at the Lukachukai community cemetery. James was born Jan. 15, 1940. His clan is Tl'aashchi'l, born for Kiiyaa'aanii. He passed away Aug. 22, 2010. James enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, cooking, and helping his family and his community. James is survived by his sons, Sterling MacRae of Wheatfields, Ariz., Harry and Flora Tsosie of Farmington, Perry J. Tsosie of Navajo, N.M., Gary Tsosie of Wheatfields, and Jerry Tsosie of Low Mountain, Ariz.; and daughter, Lorena Chee of Wheatfields. James is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Clara Slim Tsosie, and brother, Jimmy Tsosie. Pallbearers will be Sterling MacRae, Harry Tsosie, Perry J.
