James W. Vestal

VESTAL, James W. Vestal passed peacefully at home on July 9. A native New Mexican, born in Mountainair,on September 18, 1916. He was raised on his parents homestead in the Estancia Valley. He survived the D day invasion at Normandy, and fought through France and into Germany. He is survived by his son, LeRoy and daughter-in-law, Cynde; his grandchildren, Sashi McDowell and David Vestal , a great granddaughter, Caelinn Quinn McDowell. Visitation will he held at Daniels Family Funeral Service Carlisle Chapel on Monday, July 19, 2010 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
