James D Waetzig

Waetzig, James D Age 86, passed away Monday, May 21, 2012. He was born in Carbondale, Kansas, on December 30, 1925. He served in the Navy during World War II and was an auto and truck mechanic in this area. He loved Kansas, fishing, hunting, gardening, caring for animals, and feeding birds. He is survived by his wife, Irma of 61 years; 2 sons, Chuck Waetzig of Albuquerque and Herbie Waetzig and wife, Donna of Houston, Texas; two granddaughters, Becky Waetzig and Lacie and husband Derek Stifflemire of Austin, Texas; and one great granddaughter, Cadence Stifflemire. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 26, 2012 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Daniels Family Funeral Service - Carlisle Chapel .
