Angel, their cousin (brother), and numerous family and friends. Jamie graduated from Robertson High School in 1997 and had two daughters Maurina who was born in 2000 and Vivianna in 2003.
While being a full time mom, she attended Luna Vocational Community College and earned her Associates Degree for nursing and became a Registered Nurse (RN). Jamie’s passion in life was caring for others and this milestone marked the beginning of a long career that would bring her pride and joy in the years to come. In 2005 she met the love of her life, Albert. Albert and Jamie moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2007. Jamie continued her career at the Veterans Affairs hospital. In 2008 Jamie had another girl, Jayden. In 2009 Jamie and Albert got married thus making her family complete.
Jamie’s career in healthcare continued to flourish as she worked full time as a RN, mother, wife, and student. While working between Lovelace Medical Center and Lovelace Heart Hospital she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing in 2015 from Eastern New Mexico University. She continued her journey always wanting to do more to help others and earned her Master of Science Degree in nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2018 from Walden University. In 2019 she began her next career as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner for PMG Los Lunas Family Practice and also was a supporter of Round 2 IV Wellness Solutions until her passing. Jamie received numerous awards which displayed her dedication to helping others to include Healthcare Hero of the Year.
Jamie had a deep love for life. She loved nature, animals, gardening, dancing, and providing care to others. She made a deep impact on everyone she met. She made numerous lifelong friends during her career as a healthcare professional. These friendships included co-workers, students and patients. Jamie loved her three beautiful daughters deeply and always pushed them to succeed. Jamie lived life to the fullest and always made time for family vacations to different destinations. She loved her husband and wife trips to various destinations around the country and world. There are no words to describe loss the world will feel without Jamie in it.
Jamie wanted her friends and family not to mourn her loss when the lord called her home, but to celebrate her life.
