Jane K. Grenier died peacefully at home in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, on February 22nd, 2022, at the age of 82 years.
Jane is survived by her loving husband Richard E. Grenier of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, her son Richard F. Grenier of Stoughton, Massachusetts, her daughter Denise E. Rudd and granddaughter Cassidy M. Rudd of Albuquerque, NM. Jane is preceded in death by her mother Cassie B. (MacLennan) Glennon, her father Ralph E. Glennon and by her sister Patricia Flynn.
Jane was born on Saturday, December 9th,1939, in Norwood, Massachusetts, to Cassie B. (MacLennan) and Ralph E. Glennon. Jane attended Walpole High School, Walpole, MA, and graduated in 1957. She then attended Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, and graduated with a BA degree in Education in 1961. Jane married Richard E. Grenier on Saturday, July 11, 1964, in Walpole, MA, they were married for over 57 years and had two children. She worked at Walpole Junior High School for five years and then at Franklin High School for ten years.
A special interest of Jane’s was singing. She was a part of the Westside Concert Chorale in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Jane was a parishioner at St. Mary’s Parish in Franklin, Massachusetts, and then a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church while living in Rio Rancho, NM. She enjoyed being a part of the St. Rocco’s Festival held at St. Mary’s and the Thanksgiving Turkey Drive at St. Thomas Aquinas. Jane made considerable donations to the ASPCA and to the Southwest Reservation Aid.
