Jason Cooper Long
March 17, 1987- January 26, 2021
Thank you for joining the family and friends for the Celebration of Life for Jason Long. Jason will be deeply missed. He was a caring grandson, loving son, smart brother, amazing uncle, fun cousin, and good friend. He was loved by so many. He was beyond smart, intelligent, outgoing, and a hard worker. His passion was in the science and medical field where he thrived while attending University of New Mexico and Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. He was always so confident and knowledgeable when talking about what he learned and succeeded at work and school. We all love him and will miss him very much. Never forget the amazing memories and cherish them forever.
Pallbearers will be: Austin Long, Lorenzo Long, Raymie Barela, Jr., Christopher Nelson, Austin Burnham, Isaac Dominguez, William Strickler, and Lee Urbana.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jasper Long, Ron Kittson, Manuel Nevarez, and Manuel Aragon.
Do You Pray?
I love this interpretation of a prayer. What is a prayer? Prayer doesn’t only happen when we kneel or put our hands together and focus and expect things from God. Thinking positive and wishing good for others is a prayer. When you hug a friend, that’s a prayer. When we send off our near and dear ones and say, ‘drive safely’ or ‘be safe,’ that’s a prayer. When you are helping someone in need by giving your time and energy. You are praying. When you forgive someone, that is a prayer. Prayer is a vibration. A feeling. A thought. Prayer is the voice of love, friendship, genuine relationship. Prayer is an expression of your silent being. Keep praying always…
