Age 81, passed away June 3, 2012. She was born August 8th, 1930 in Whitehall, NY to Sara and Ellery Willett. Jean lived the majority of her life in Upstate NY where she retired from the New York Telephone Co. She was an avid golfer, gardener & reader. She enjoyed travelling and spending her winters in Florida with her "Irish Mist ladies. The last years of her life were best spent with her son, daughter-in-law and especially her grandsons and the extraordinary people of the Montebello Assisted Living Community in Albuquerque, NM. She was preceded in death by her husband John P. "Jack Jones Jr. and her son John P. "JP Jones III; her Father and Mother; 3 Brothers and 1 Sister. Jean is survived by her son Lee Jones and his wife Colleen of Rio Rancho, NM; her grandsons Cooper, Caden and Colin; her niece Suzanne Scribner of Fort Meyers, FL and her children Alex, John and Matthew; her sister Sally King of Virginia. She leaves behind many friends and relatives who deeply mourn her. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, June 11, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at The Montebello on Academy, 10500 Academy Rd NE, Albuquerque.
