Jeanne Deaver Hadley passed away peacefully at age 87 after a short illness on December 20th 2011, one month after the death of her beloved husband of 67 years, Frank. "Minnie" Jeanne was born in Gillette, Wyoming on June 12th, 1924, to Freda Wachter Deaver and Richard Clayton Deaver.  She attended grade school and high school in Gillette, and graduated from Colorado Women’s College.  Jeanne worked as an executive secretary most of her life.  Jeanne married Frank Cecil Hadley on September 17th 1944.  They were blessed with three children, Richard Frank Hadley, Peggy Lynn Hadley, and Elizabeth Ann (Betsy) Hadley.  They lived in Gillette until 1964 when they moved to Casa Grande, Arizona.  In 2006 Jeanne and Frank moved to Albuquerque, NM where they lived at the Montebello Retirement Community until their deaths.  Jeanne was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Gillette, Wyoming, Casa Grande, Arizona, and most recently in Albuquerque, NM.  She was a charter member of Mountain Shadows Presbyterian in Oro Valley, AZ, and she had proudly served as both an Elder and Deacon.  Jeanne was a current member of the Sandia Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque.
Jeanne is survived by her son Richard Hadley, daughter Betsy Hadley-Everett, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great- great grandchildren as well as many dear nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank on November 20th, 2011, her daughter Peggy Lynn Standridge, a granddaughter, Tamara Jean Ortiz, brothers Lester and Robert Deaver, sister Eileen Gilkey, and her mother and father.  Jeanne was an intelligent, thoughtful and caring mother!  She had a great sense of humor, was a talented painter, and homemaker, and was loved by all for her sweet nature. A dual memorial service for both Jeanne and Frank will be held on January 14th at 11am at Sandia Presbyterian Church on Paseo Del Norte. In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Jeanne's honor to Sandia Presbyterian Church or a charity of your choice.
