Jeffrey E. Jones

Born January 15, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois, Jeff passed away unexpectedly on February 19, 2019 in Albuquerque, which he called home for over 40 years.  He is preceded in death by his father Joy Leroy Jones, mother Arlen Mary Chase, and brother Gregg Jones.  He is survived by his girlfriend of nearly 30 years Cathy Cannon; cousins, Gail, Kevin, Darnel, Kris, Michelle, Mark, Nancy, Karen, Robin, as well as many 3rd cousins who loved him dearly.  Jeff was an avid sports fan of anything Chicago and grew up playing hockey.  He also was a very talented guitarist and mechanic, which was his trade.  It was Jeff’s wish to not have traditional services, so the family will be celebrating his life in a private dinner in his honor.
