Jeffrey Barry Moskowitz, 85, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of Friday, October 30, 2026.

Born in New York on December 25, 1940, to Dora (née Klarman) and Harry Moskowitz, Jeffrey was the youngest of thirteen children. He earned a master's degree in physical education and began his professional life as an educator in New York City.

In 1974, he moved to Rio Rancho with his new bride, Cheryl, and continued his career in education before changing course and becoming a realtor. He ultimately opened All Star Realty, where he built relationships and touched countless lives.

Although his career took him beyond the classroom, he never stopped being a teacher. A coach at heart, Jeffrey was a natural mentor whose knowledge, guidance, and encouragement helped shape the careers and lives of many.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cheryl (née Miller), on November 14, 2025; his parents, Dora and Harry; and his ten siblings.

He is survived by his sisters, Sandra Berg and Barbara (Bill) Wallace; his daughters from his first marriage, Tracey Moskowitz Tsang and Darcey Moskowitz Rusian (Tony); his son, Harris Moskowitz (Rebekah); and his six grandchildren, Emily, Rebecca, Ryan, Rachel, Grady, and Isabella. He also leaves behind a large and loving family of nieces and nephews, who will always remember him as a devoted uncle.

Funeral Services

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, November 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Daniels Funeral Home, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico 87124.

Graveside services are scheduled for Sunday, November 8, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico 87124.
