Jeng Yang Tsay, age 79, passed away on May 21, 2026, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was born on October 15, 1946, in Tainan, Taiwan, to Tzu-Liang Tsai and Chin-Li Tsai.

Jeng spent his early years in Taiwan, where he attended high school and proudly served in the military with the Taiwan NLVG. In 1975, he married the love of his life, Tuyet Thi Tran, in Jacksonville, Florida. Together they built a life centered on family, hard work, and devotion to one another.

A dedicated entrepreneur, Jeng owned and operated restaurants from 1986 until his retirement in 2004. Through his business, he touched the lives of many customers, employees, and friends who came to appreciate his generosity and strong work ethic.

Jeng enjoyed many interests throughout his life. He found great joy in ballroom dancing, tending to his garden, and watching classic Chinese drama and action films. He was known for his determination, resilience, and deep love for his family.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Tuyet Thi Tsay (Tran).

Jeng is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Kuan and her husband, Tom Kuan, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Lindsey Tsay and her partner, Nick Holthouser, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; and Allison Cawley and her husband, Josh Cawley. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Stephen Tsay, Vaden Deubel, Quenten Deubel, and Lilly Kuan.

Jeng will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his entrepreneurial spirit, and the warmth and kindness he shared with those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A graveside service is scheduled for Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico 87124.
