Obituary

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Jenny Estrada who left us on

June 14, 2026, in Albuquerque. She was married to her husband, Manuel Estrada of 49 years

Jenny was born on February 11, 1946, to Jose Lucero and Pauline Baca in Gallup, New Mexico.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Herman Charlie Lucero and Herman Vallejos, her nephews, Benny and Teddy Gonzales, also her pet Camilla.

She leaves behind her husband Manuel Estrada of Gallup, NM, her sister Betty Mestas, of Gallup, NM, son Victor Aragon of Chula Vista, San Diego, a daughter Annette Aragon of Rio Rancho, NM, son Patrick Franco of Gallup, NM, daughter Elizabeth Franco of Albuquerque, NM, son, David Franco and wife Lisa of Albuquerque, NM, sister Victoriana Gonzales of Gallup, NM, brothers Eddie Lucero of Gallup and Levy Lucero of Alamogordo, NM, and sister Eleanor Shields of Peoria, Arizona.

She also leaves behind her grandchildren Tiffany Alonzo (Joshua), Anthony Perez (Valerie) Toni Rae Francho, Dominic Gantar, Matthew Gordon, and Justice Franco. And her great-grandchildren, Uriah Alonzo, Gage Alonzo, Hunter Alonzo, Kristy Perez, Norrie Perez, Wolfgang Perez, Amina McClelland, Zamari McClelland. And her pets Camilla and Rusty Crabs.

Jenny was a 1965 graduate of Gallup High School and earned her Business Degree in 1988.

She was employed by the Gallup McKinley County Schools for 20 years and for Gallup Headstart for five years.

She enjoyed sewing, baking and crocheting. She loved to spend time with family. She enjoyed having fun at the Casino with her kids and husband. She was a cursillista and participated in several cursillos.

Pallbearers will be Dominic Gantar, Josh Alonzo, Uriah Alonzo, Hunter Alonzo, Gage Alonzo, Sergio Sotello, Anthony Perez, and Edward Alonzo.

Honorary Pallbearers are David and Patrick Franco, Victor Aragon, Angelo and Wolfgang Perez, Matthew Gordon, and Zamari McClellend.
