Jess A. Sanchez

Jess A. Sanchez, age 71, was embraced by our Lord Jesus Thursday, January 24, 2019 and taken to his heavenly home. He was born in Bakersfield, CA on July 4, 1947, to Celso and Eloise.

He was preceded in death by his son, Enrique.

Jess is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Elena; daughter, Carmen; sons, Jess Jr. and Ivan. He served in the US Army/Vietnam and received a Purple Heart. He loved to fish, play pool (billiard master), involved with the cancer research and children's hospital. Jess dedicated his life to projects for environmental issues affecting the under served population. Member of the Ecology and Environmental Organization in Latin America. Jess will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lives he touched.
