Jessie Rose Scruggs

Flora Vista, NM Jessie Rose Scruggs Jessie Rose Scruggs, 56, of Flora Vista, passed away October 26, 2010. She was born April 22, 1954 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Charles and Jane (Jackson) Finch. Her family moved to San Juan County in 1968. Jessie graduated from Farmington High School in 1972 and San Juan College in May of 1995. Jessie enjoyed hand embroidery, quilting, reading and teaching Children’s Sunday School. She was Secretary for the Southwest Kidney Support Group and was also a member of the National Federation of the Blind. Jessie is survived by her sons, Scott Ryan Scruggs and Rickie Scruggs; her mother, Jane Nielson; brothers, Charles Finch and Jeff Finch; and sister, Lois Caron, as well as three grandchildren, Katie Scruggs, Nicky Scruggs and Tyler Scruggs. She was preceded in death by her father Charles H. Finch. Pallbearers are: Charles Finch, Robert Finch, Rick Scruggs, and Rickie Scruggs. Honorary Pallbearers are: Scott Scruggs and David Salazar. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, November 2, 2010, at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Reverend Fermin Talamante officiating.
