Jimmy "Jim" Barela

Barela, Jimmy �Jim� Age 58, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014. He was born June 22, 1956 in Albuquerque, NM. He proudly serviced his country in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his daughters: Diana Lopez and husband Luis, Theresa Baldonado and husband Dude, Monique Giovine and husband Gio; grandchildren: Jimmy, Joaquin, Angel, Lawrence, Luciano, Milani, and Jazalea; best friend and soul mate, Denise Padilla; mother-in-law, Predicanda Padilla. He loved spending time with his grandchildren; was well known for his �Green Thumb�. Jimmy will be greatly missed by numerous family, friends and all that knew and loved him. A Visitation will be held Monday, July 7, 2014 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am; a Rosary will be recited at 11:00 am followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 pm at Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave SW, Albuquerque, NM.
