Jo Anne Lucille Johnson

JOHNSON-Jo Anne Lucille Johnson, 74, passed away, October 9, 2010. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Anne Johnson-Grossman; future son-in-law, Shannon Poe; sister, Christine Johnson; brother, Charles “Buddy” Johnson; nieces, Marie Johnson Martinez and husband Tony, Cathryn Johnson, Cheryl Rooney and husband Pat, Nancy Yakshe and husband Ron, Victoria Winters; nephew, Sean Winters; sister-in-law, Kathy Johnson; many grand nieces and grand nephews, and especially her grand dog Charlie. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles N. Johnson and Isabelle MacInnis Johnson; sisters, Norma Walker, Marguerite Johnson. Jo Anne was always gracious, graceful, and beautiful. Jo was an incredible chef and caterer. She loved to try out new recipes and share them with others. After retiring from PNM, Jo became a Foster Grandma at Colinas Del Norte Elementary School. Her sharing her incredible life experiences in the Army, as a stewardess and a party organizer made her the life of the party. Jo’s trade mark was her love for jewelry, giraffes, lipstick, and having her hair done every Saturday. Jo will be dearly missed. A Rosary will be recited at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 16, 2010 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 pm, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
