Jo Anne Shew

Jo Anne Shew passed away peacefully December 9th in the company of her two children, Aaron and Joel Fellis, their wives Teresa and Kathryn, and four grandchildren, Dylan, Nico, Milo, Madyson. She enjoyed her 68 years of life simply doing the things she loved. Her biggest joy was raising her two children at which she did an amazing job. She always encouraged them to strive and do things for which she never had the opportunity, subsequently living through their experiences and accomplishments. She adored her four grandchildren and spent what time with them she could. She was always quick to provide help and care to others. She loved talking on the phone with her family and friends. Her hobbies included gardening, photography, listening to music, and reading. Jo Anne was born in Albuquerque in 1950 and graduated from Valley High School in 1968. She lived in the northwest part of Albuquerque and Rio Rancho for 66 years, spending her last 2 years living in Oregon with her eldest son. Her siblings, Bobby, Donna, and Kyle, survive her and still live in Albuquerque area.
