Joan B. "Sally" Burbank

Joan B. “Sally” Burbank, age 90, passed away November 12, 2022, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.  She was born October 25, 1932, in Pittsfield, New Hampshire to Ralf and Eunice Steele.  She was a graduate of Pittsfield High School, Class of 1950.  She proudly served our country in the United States Air Force for 3 years at the rank of A/2C (P).  She married Harry James Burbank on September 11, 1992, in Nebraska.  She was a member of Covenant Christian Church.  She collected crystal dishes.  She enjoyed shopping, getting her hair done and watching Mash on TV.  Her favorite color was purple, and she loved dressing the same as her daughter, Lynn.  Her favorite quote was “if tears could build a stairway”.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband of 6 years, Harry James Burbank; daughter, Lori Robb and parents, Ralf and Eunice Steele.

She is survived by her sons, Ernest Robb of Florida, Michael Robb of Georgia; daughter, Lynn Robb of New Mexico; brother, Donald Steele of Ohio; grandchildren, Christopher Robb, Danielle Ramirez, Lenard Robb and Sara Robb; great-grandchild, Breazahanae Reliford; and pet cat, Crystal.
