JoBeth Fralix

JoBeth Fralix, age 88, passed away on December 7, 2025, at Morning Star Assisted Living in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. She was born on July 10, 1937, in Albuquerque N.M., to Joseph and Leota Van Damme.

JoBeth grew up and graduated from Regina Coeli High School in Albuquerque, worked as a telephone operator and later married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Fralix, on October 20, 1956, at the Kirtland Chapel on Kirtland AFB. They moved to several military bases during Bob’s military career. They lived in Rantoul, Illinois, Wichita Falls, Texas and Abilene, Texas before finally returning to Albuquerque in 1967, they shared 61 wonderful years together.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Leota VanDamme, son Robert Joseph Fralix and her husband Robert W. Fralix.

Jo Beth is survived by her children, David (Amy) Fralix of Rio Rancho, NM and Elizabeth (Kevin) Dritt of Cincinnati, Ohio; her sisters, Judith Jones of Albuquerque, NM and Janet (Frank) Bigan of Kaysville, Utah; her grandchildren Mark (Sarah), Rebecca (Andrew), Hannah (Skyler), Joe (Xue), Jake (Emily) and Emma; her great grandchildren, Braxton, Carson and Tura Beth as well as 3 nieces, Kathy, Darla and Denise.

The family extends their gratitude to Presbyterian Hospice and Morning Star Assisted Living for their loving care and support.

Services will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Spring of 2026, where JoBeth will finally be laid to rest next to her loving husband.
